DVS 2024 Progressive Safety System

Direct Vision Standard 2024
The Direct Vision Standard (DVS) is designed to improve the safety of heavy goods vehicles over 12 tonnes entering or operating in the Greater London area.
From October 2024, HGVs will have to have a minimum 3-star rating (currently 1 star) to continue operating in enforcement zones.
Any HGV that does not achieve a 3 star manufacturer rating will require a PSS kit (Progressive Safety System).
Licenses issued after October 2024 will be valid until October 28, 2030.
Autoequips has both rigid and articulated vehicle compatible PSS kits to help fleet operators meet DVS 2024 requirements.
If your vehicle does not meet the required star rating, a DVS Progressive Safety System will be required to obtain a permit.
**DVS Progressive Safety System is a range of vehicle safety technologies that can be installed on a vehicle to increase its indirect field of vision to the necessary level.
